I have a Cisco ASA5506 and I am unable to receive data to inside connections.
I can ping out from the router from the outside interface. But I can't get a ping from an inside interface.
I have the outside interface configured with a static IP address and I do have a static route set for the gateway on that connection.
Watching the network traffic, we can see the inside pings leaving the ASA and coming back. But the return ping isn't getting past the ASA.
I there a setting I may have missed?
Apologies if this kind of problem has been covered already.

Does your service policy include 'inspect icmp'?

How are you monitoring the traffic? Have you set up a capture or just monitoring the logs? Could you post the output of the logs and / or capture?
could you post a full running configuration (sanitized).
