Hi everyone ,
I would like to know if it's possible to configure Failover (active/standby) on 2 Firewalls that are Identical (everything is the same) except for the RAM memory , the first has 1 Gb and the other has 2 GB.
And Does anybody know what command should I use to view the RAM slots that were installed into my ASA firewalls as both Firewalls arent physically near me .
Thanks ,

According to the Cisco documentation below:
Both devices in an ASA failover configuration (active-active and active-standby) must have the same RAM memory. Mixed-RAM devices in ASA failover configurations are not supported.
From the CLI, you can issue the show version | include RAM command to see how much memory your ASA has:
ASA#
show version | include RAM
Hardware: ASA5520, 512 MB RAM
, CPU Pentium 4 Celeron 2000 MHz
On ASDM, you can see the amount of RAM in the ASA from the ASDM Home (Device Dashboard) page.

view the RAM slots:
Hi Mahmoud,
I suggest you schedule a downtime and check by opening chassis. There was issue that some ASAs shipped with 1DIMM slot only. See the below posting...
