Dear Sir,
We are using two number of cisco ASA 5520 (ASA 5520 VPN Plus license) as a active/active failover mode for internal security. We want to replace this device with ASA5585-S10P10-k9. Is there any license issue if we purchase asa5585 said part number? We want to replace with all previous configuration of 5520 firewall. Your suggestion will be highly appriciated.

Hello,
There are several licenses,
Now if you are looking for failover purposes you will be fine as with the base license you will be able to run both active/standby and active/active.
Here is the link for the entire licenses Info
