asdm unable to read configuration from ASA

HI,

I am getting an error " asdm unable to read configuration from ASA, please check the configuration and connections..

how can i solve this issue please help.

Java running on pc 6 update 10

Hello,

You are hitting bug ID CSCsx39786..

While loading ASDM, a dialog is displayed that says:

"ASDM cannot be loaded.  Click OK to exit ASDM.

Unconnected sockets not implemented"

This occurs when using Java 6 Update 10 or later.

Workaround:

Use Java 6 Update 7.

You can also go to ASDM versions ( It is fixed on those versions)

5.1(2.58)

6.1(1.55)F

5.2(4.51)

6.1(5.51)

5.0(8.50)
