We?re looking for software that will help us audit and keep track of firewall policies.
We are constantly doing audits on our firewalls, whenever there is a change.
We would also would need to link to documents to change control documentation unless the software has a change control database, which would be preferred.
To give you an example:
A request comes in to allow port 80 for certain servers. We need to keep track of this request and approvals. We then need to apply the change to the firewalls; 60 days from the change we would need to do another audit.
Do you know of/have any software that would help us with these change controls.
The firewalls in our environment are:
Cisco ASA
Cisco FWSM
Does anyone have any ideas?
