HI All,
anyone recommend the best way to backup the AIP SSM Module. is there a way to automate it?

If you're using the Cisco Security Manager, it'll keep a copy of the working config that can be redeployed to a replacement sensor.
If not you can always do a text capture of the "show config" output of the CLI.
Pasting that into a replacement sensor will restore your config, just like a Cisco router or switch.
There are plenty of scripts that are available to to this for routers, modifying them to change the "show run" command to "show config" would be pretty easy.
