Block MSN Messanger

Hello All,

I am runninng a ASA5520 and ASDM 6.2, I have recenly noticed some MSN traffic on our network. Is there a ASDM policy that I can apply to kill all

MSN and Yahoo traffic ? I am looking to block this chat traffic on our network. Can someone please recommend a solution ?

You can use the following config to block yahoo and msn IM:

class-map type inspect im match-any IM

match protocol msn-im yahoo-im

policy-map type inspect im IM

parameters

class IM

  drop-connection log

policy-map global_policy

class inspection_default

  inspect im IM
