Hi All,

Getting an error while saving configuration of firewall. 

FTD# wr Building configuration... Cryptochecksum: 24a276f4 678c661c b6fe2969 ebc4ad6e 6689 bytes copied in 0.130 secsERROR: Failed to store the new IO memory size in IDPROM

This seems to related to bug id CSCvz89177. What can be do here to remediate this error

A couple of questions:

1. What is the appliance model?
2. What is the version of code running?

About the defect that you mentioned: If you are indeed running into this defect, then your configurations should be saving fine as this is just a cosmetic bug. You can verify this by checking your startup config (show startup-config) and making sure your changes are captured there.

2. What is the version of code running?--ASA 9.22.2

Thank you for providing the info! I can see that 9.22.2 is an affected release with a fix scheduled to be introduced in the upcoming 9.24.x release. In the meantime, please use "show startup-config" command to verify that changes are being saved. If they are not, please raise a support case with Cisco TAC.
