Can I restore ASA running config into ASAv ?

HI There, 

Wondering if we could simply restore running config backed up from one CISCO ASA device to a virtual ASAv ? My question is more on recovery standpoint, say I need to setup a new ASAv in case of DR situation, can I just restore the backed up file ? do I need to have same interfact IPs  ? Any other cosiderations should I need to take care of ? Please suggest.

I prefer manually add config to new ASAv 

Why? Since it two different asa then not only interface you will face mismatch but maybe other' and if the config failed you will waste time to find which command is not accpet.
