Hello tech,
I am updating all the sfr from 6.0 to 6.1. But one of the sfr is not succeed from 5.4.1 to 6.0. So I image the sfr with the new image 6.0.0.5. The image shows everything okay. But after upload the 6.0.0.5 pkg, the sfr is sitll in recovery mode. the failure I have found on the log is
"mount: special device /Volume/lib/lucene does not exist [FAILED]".
So would any of you please can recommend what I could do? Should I try to reimage with 5.4.1 version again? or try to do 6.2.0.2 image? The asa has 9.8.(2)24 image version.
Regards
Saimun
thanks

What ASA model is it?
Which filenames are you using for booth boot and pkg images?

Hello Marvin,
the ASA model is 5506-x. The boot image "asasfr-5500x-boot-6.0.0-1005.img" and the pkg image "asasfr-sys-6.0.0-1005.pkg".
The rest of the 5506-x I could update from FMC. Because this one I couldn't do it I try to reimage and now the firepower is running with the installed pkg.

Those are the correct files.
If you're re-imaging you might as well go straight to 6.1.
If that doesn't work, I'd open a TAC case.

Hello,
I would second Marvin's suggestion to directly use 6.1 or may be 6.2
Also check the memory on the ASA. If using RestAPI, disable that and then try the installation.
Smaller devices like 5506 tend to have memory related issues with new versions of 6.0+
Otherwise, open TAC case.
Hope it helps,
Yogesh
