Hallo all,

I spent a lot of time to solve one problem but unfortunately I have no clue to solve it,     I have a network with ASA firewall,   the client inside cannot ping outside, but the http service is normal (with NAT),   I try to analyse the packet information from logging mornitor of ASDM,  but when I input filter  of source ip (test client),   I cannot see any message on logging,  at same time I can ping inside interface and reach internet by http,  but there is no any item on logging ,   do you have any idea why the traffice is forwarding but no logging ?

Ping uses the icmp protocol which is not inspected by default on Cisco ASA. If you add icmp inspection on your default class map it should work.
