Cannot SSH, Telnet to Cisco ASA 5580

Hi there...

Need urgent help in accessing my cisco ASA, last night we were doing VA on our ASA, after that iam not able to access it through ssh nor telnet. its not giving me any error.. i tried from different system also.

SSH & telnet allowed from inside to 0.0.0.0

i have re-generated rsa keys when it was working.

ASA version is 8.2

now when i connect telent is giving me blank prompt. i can login using ASDM.

Hello Syed,

Are you using AAA authentication for this connections?

If not lets enable it and try to access the device again.

AAA authentication login console LOCAL

username whatever password whatever privelege 15

If this does not help , is  it possible that you could post the running configuration to take a look at that and help you with this.

yes using AAA with ACS server, the problem is i can connect using ASDM it works but not SSH or telnet.

and posting configuration .. its not possible its totally on private lan... and not allowed to post configuration here even single line. i am sorry if i do that the 2nd minut i will be in jail

so any other option u have in ur mind ???? what could be wrong?

Hello Syed,

Ok, I understand.

Seems like the telnet and SSH process got stuck.

Can you remove the telnet and SSH configuration and then apply it back to the ASA.
