CCL Encryption

I need to do a packet capture on the CCL traffic to find out the source/destination of the packets that still using the CCL links.

Does the ASA encrypt all CCL traffic? If I SPAN the CCL link (connected to a Nexus Switch) and connect a laptop running wireshark to the destination port, will I be able to see the packet source and destination addresses? I do n't care about the packet payload, don't need to see those.

Thank you

Hi,

Yes, if you take a packet capture you will see the source and destination in addresses. This is because the outer header is unprotected, the content will be encrypted.
