Changing to multiple context-mode

Hi

How can we move to the multiple context mode without losing our current configuration? After getting to the multiple cont. mode one context should be the current configuration Is that possible?

Hi,

When you enable multiple context mode on the ASA, the default "admin" context will contain the config when it was still in single mode. This is stored in flash with the name old_running.cfg.

Do a back up of your config when reverting back to single mode.
