Cisco 1120 running FDM version 6.6.1-91. Console (cable) CLI credentials use RADIUS, just like all other authentication methods to the FDM.
We're getting ready to upgrade our FDM. We want to be able to log into the console (using serial console cable) CLI using the saved LOCAL admin credentials which we set up initially, but we can't figure out how to stop it from using RADIUS (without turning RADIUS off). We even blocked it from reaching the RADIUS server and it still wouldn't take local credentials (which we know are correct).
Basically we don't want to have a dependence on RADIUS in case something goes awry in the upgrade process. We need to be able to log in via serial console using local credentials.
Any ideas?
