Good morning...
We are wanting to test Cisco 8Kv and the FTDv20 in our lab. Fortunately, we have plenty of server horsepower with processors.All hard drives are SAS 12Gb SSD's. We will be separating the RAIDs; the router and firewall will each have their own.
Here are our installation thoughts:
Cisco 8kv: RAID 5 (3) 1.6TB drives
32 GB RAM and 8 Cores 16 vCPU
Cisco FTDv20 (3Gbps) : RAID 5 (3) 1.6TB drives
32 GB RAM and 8 Cores / 16 vCPU
Thoughts? Suggestions?
