Hello,

we are going to buy cisco asa 5555x, cisco asa 5585x.
We are planning to use them in our company as a VPN server to connect users by Cisco AnyConnect.
As we can see asa 5555x can support up to 750 vpn connections and asa 5585x can support 5000 vpn connections.
My question is about licensing.

Do we need licensing for Anyconnect to work? Or does it has integrated license? Can you please give me a link to a manual or document on this issue?

@divas80 I wouldn't bother with the ASA hardware is End of Sale and near End of Live/Support. You'd be better off purchasing either the Firepower 2100 (up to 10000 max VPN users) or 1150 (max 800 VPN users) series hardware, this hardware is newer, better performance and will be supported longer than the ASA hardware. The hardware can also run the latest ASA or FTD software images, the old ASA hardware cannot.

And as already mentioned yes you do need to purchase Secure Client (new name for AnyConnect) licensing.
