Hey,
I would like to know how cisco asa can secure banking & financial organization networks from unauthorized network ,
for example:
I am customer of one of bank and i use online banking for transactions (purchasing, transfer money, other)
and how to secure online transaction between two branches of bank located in different city, state or country?
I would like to know the flow between my browser and bank's network, how cisco asa play key role for securing bank's network
because if i am sending money from india to usa via online banking, it should be secure, or I am visiting bank's website and enter my credentials, then how web security works in this scenario,
so overall my question is how bank's network security works with Cisco ASA, please share use cases if you have!
Thanks
Shubham

An ASA will provide you no security as a customer of online banking
Your browser must be able to connect to the banks webserver via https. So that traffic must be allowed, anything you do on the banks web interface is then transmitted through their network and whether it is secure or not you will never know.
The only benefit you may receive is, an ASA could prevent a hacker gaining control of your personal computer, then using your personal computer to login to your banking website using your credentials etc.
