Recently in interview I was asked , is there any tool which can be used on cisco ASA to determine destination port is open are not ? I said from packet-tracer command we can identify but interviewer said there is something else also but did not tell me the answer . I searched in google but did not find any answer can someone let me know ASAP ?

I would have said packet-tracer as well - and I have worked with hundreds of ASAs since they were known as Pix. Cisco TAC recommends it as well. One could run a couple of show commands as well but that's not as thorough.
If they want to know an external tool I would answer "nmap".

I suppose something else also there from which we can identify destination ports are reachable or opened or not from cisco asa command prompt ...
