hi,

i'm going to separate internal/core and external/customer IPSec VPN into separate context, i.e. context A is for internal/core and context B for external/customer. both are using the same outside public ip address.

can i use the same outside public ip in both ASA context so i don't need to re-ip the remote VPN peer?

Hi @johnlloyd_13 no I don't think its possible to share the IP address, you can certainly share the interfaces between contexts.

Confirming @Rob Ingram 's belief - you cannot share IP addresses among interfaces in different contexts.

I think you can put router Infront of ASA and use multi context
