Hi,
May i ask how many user accounts i can create to a Cisco ASA box? Say for example a Cisco ASA 5510 or Cisco ASA 5520?
Thanks.
Regards,
Jessica

I'm not sure on the limits of the devices themselves. I've personally used well over 50 usernames on a Cisco ASA 5510. If you are using AAA with TACACS or RADIUS, that number is grossly more, as the usernames are not stored on the device itself.

Copy/pasting from an internal link:
Q. What the configuration limits for users, groups-policies on the ASA?
A. The ASA's AAA Local Database has no hard limits on the numbers of group-polices, and usernames.
So what i infer is that it could be any number upto the free memory permitted on the platform.

Jessica,
I got it from an internal link. So, i am afraid that i don't have anything really to pull out from CCO to share with you.
I will try to check if i can find an external CCO link for it.
