Cisco c9300L Network Essential with Distribute list

Hi Guys,

My company bought a pair of Cisco c9300L with License Network Essential (limited OSPF-1000 Routes) replace for old C3750X.  But old Cisco 3750X is running with 1300 routes OSPF. I dont know what it mean in "1000 routes OSPF". So i think i will create a distribute list for new c9300L deny routes to < 1000, Im not sure it will work and affect by the License.

If you have any information about it please tell me know.

Hi,

As it implies, you can not have more than 1000 routes in the RIB. So routes
will be discarded randomly. You can use distribution list to limit some
routes to go below 1000

I wondering it limit only 1000 routes in the RIB OSPF or RIB of the device(static, connected,...)?
