Cisco FMC - scheduling - push latest update

Hello everyone,

I want to schedule a "push latest update" to the version 6.7.

The problem is, that i cant choose any version in the scheduler and he don't use the available updates on the FMC.

I get the following email message.

Scheduled Task: Push Updates to Device
Status: Job started
Message: There were no new updates to push for the following sensors:

  * xxxsecftdp01 (Software)

I this case it is a FTD1010 with Version 6.6.1, in the list of the available updates is also the right package, Cisco FTD SSP FP1K Upgrade (6.7.0-65). I could push and stage directly, but i must update about 100 devices over the world in different time zone and want to do in the night.

Unfortunately, the scheduler is not very comfortable, no version can be selected, or no time zone.

Cisco needs to do a little more work on this.

Anyone a idea, or is it only possible to upgrade to the last recommended Version?

Marco

I believe the scheduling option in FMC only allows you to schedule patches - not major upgrades (as of version 6.7).

For what it's worth, CDO-based management allows major upgrade scheduling.
