Good morning

I'm writing you to know information about hard disk in my Cisco IDS 4235, in particular look the output of the #show version command:

4235zcom# sh version

system is using 17.8M out of 29.0M bytes of available disk space (61% usage)

I don't rember the command syntax to clear part of the disk space (to minimize the space used), could you help me?

Any information that you can send me are welcomed.

Best regards

I don't know of a command for explicity clearing disk space, but you can restore or reimage your sensor to put it back in a"like new" state:

Use the command "restore" to reimage your sensor from teh restoration partition, this will perserve your current config.

Reimage from either a boot CD (in teh 4235 theyt had a CD drive) or a network TFTP image.
