HI i was trying out the system message notification feature in CNA and my company's email naming convention is firstname.lastname@companyname. However CNA Prompted "The format of the sender email address is not valid".

And when i put the email format name@yahoo.com or name@gmail.com, the test mail can be send.

I know its due to the "." in the middle of the first name and the last name which triggers this prompt message. So i was thinking is there a way to resolve this problem rather than changing the naming convention of the email address?

Thanks.

Current release of CNA does not support an email address with a "." in it and generates the error you see above.

An ehancement request has been entered to get this support added to a future release. CNA 4.0 is slated for release very soon on CCO
