I have a brand new Pix 515E and connected its outside eth interface to our Cisco IAD2400 router and the active LED won't come one. The sh int command shows that the interface is up and line protocol is down. Yet, when I connect the same Pix interface to a Linksys router, no problem, and if I connect the Linksys to the IAD router int, no problem either. Its as if the Pix int and IAD int won't communicate with each other. I've removed auto on the Pix interface and tried 100full, but no luck (the IAD int is labeled as "FastEthernet") Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried a cosser-over cable? Otherwise I think you must use a hub/switch to interconnect a pix to a router, if tou use normal cabling.
