Cisco PIX & Routers and LDAP

Is tehre any chance for Cisco Routers and especcialy PIX firewall to talk LDAP (Users are on LDAP Server)

Not yet. I haven’t heard of that being looked at for PIX. What are you hoping to do with it? Your Cisco office should be able to put in a request for a code enhancement for you.

Keep in mind that the CiscoSecure ACS server integrates with LDAP very well, speaking radius/tacacs+ to the switch/router/PIX, and speaking LDAP to your LDAP server. It will effectively function as a gateway between the two. Talk to your Cisco account rep about a trial version of ACS and give it a try - I think you'll be sold on it! If you don't have a Cisco account rep, call CRC and find out how to get one.
