Hi,
I'm evaluating the Cisco Security Manager ver 4.14 installed on a vm-ware machine with windows 2012 64bit with us-english locale.
There are two kind of problems:
during the installation some of the MS-KB requested cannot be satisfied , either because are them installed in a cumulative patch or not for that OS, the install process still end with success but with warnings.
The major problem is about the impossibility for the client software to connect , i followed all the guidelines and did the post installation tasks but still cannot connect, from the local machine too.
I'm Always receiving the error: "client cannot connect to the authentication service".
i did the operations described in :

but still no success.
i've also stopped the vmtools service , but no success.
Found only this error in client logs:
"com.cisco.nm.vms.desktop.CompleteLoginPanel login
SEVERE: Can't get VMS session: response doesn't start with OK"

I had this issue when trying to install from an RDP session, I installed from the console of my VMWare instance and it worked.
