Dear community,
Will I be able to still use Cisco User Agent, if I upgrade my FMC from 6.6.5 to 7.0.1?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
Laura

@laurathaqi no it's been depreciated, you need to use ISE/ISE-PIC to learn the IP/User bindings.
You cannot upgrade a Firepower Management Center with user agent configurations to Version 6.7.0+.
Version 6.6.0/6.6.x is the last release to support the Cisco Firepower User Agent software as an identity source. You should switch to Cisco Identity Services Engine/Passive Identity Connector (ISE/ISE-PIC). To convert your license, contact Sales.

Thank you for your much appreciated feedback!
Wanted to fix the "Smart License Monitor - Smart Agent communication error with the Smart Licensing cloud", were field notice https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/721/fn72103.html recommended to jump directly to 7.0.1 for the issue to get fixed. But now I see I can't due to still using User Agent on FMC Virtual version 6.6.5.
On the link that @balaji.bandi shared, I read that customers with FMCv25 can get ISE-PIC at no cost, I will proceed with this option for now and see if I can upgrade to ISE-PIC without any additional cost.
Many thanks,
Laura
