I am admin of a FTD cluster in a Cloud Delivered FMC, and we are In the process of a migration process. There is over 400 vlan interfaces. We need to be able to shut/no shut them on cue from the ISP etc during the process, and in worst case revert the changes.
But in the cdFMC the process of changing just interface status is very painful. Is there no way to mass update interfaces and attributes?
I mean.. I can do a REST API scripting to configure interfaces but that is very different from making hundreds of changes, and possibly rollback on just some of them. Is there no other way?

API and UI are the only options to perform such tasks.

Yeah... figured. But had to make a rant.....
I mean. This is a horrible horrible horrible designed gui, completely unable to do anything other than minor changes. And even that is cumbersome.
It forces you to program your own gui totally from scratch, or rely on integrations from third party only...
objects can be imported by csv. So why not interfaces and nat..?
Worst gui ever. Customers are ridiculing the FMC and ask for other vendors. The really are. Not even joking.
