Console connection in ASA5505

Hi We have a ASA5505. The issue is every lights work well when cable is plugged into its ports. But the console cannot get any singnal. The console itself is good when connected to another ASA. Do you think the ASA can be fixed? Thanks

I doubt it unless you are very good with a soldering gun and want to take apart the console connector from the inside.

It would be much easier to procure a used 5505 (or better yet a 5506) to replace that one.

If you got Smartnet support added to the current one you could probably get it exchanged by Cisco.
