Hello, everyone
i am looking to create a backup of my current Cisco Firepower Management Center for VMware, Version 6.5.0.4
- VMWare ESXI 7.0.0 (Build 16324942)
- OS is Cisco Fire Linux OS version 6.5.0
The current server the VM sits on needs maintenance done to it, one of the drives failed and because of the age of the server the manufacturer does not create the same drives anymore. so i am planning to move everything to an SSD drive that works on said server.
I have the following of my Current FMC backup VM
- Temporary VMware ESXI 6.7.0 (Build 8169922)
- The VM will have the same Management IP address, same MAC Address, and the same DNS servers
- i have also uploaded the backup with a current backup from my working FMC.
- the licenses are all Classic so the MAC Address staying the same should keep them from breaking.
Am i missing anything? or am i doing something that shouldn't be done
