How can I restore a rule to default settings? I know, I should have done a backup of the configuration first but I didn't. I have a backup now but rule 237 is hosed. I have it disabled until I can get it restored.
TIA

If you have a test MC, create a policy with just that rule and export it, then import it to your current configuration. If not, you could install everything on another box and then do the same thing. What rule was it?

The Rule in question is #237. The rule can be found under Rule Modules/Windows Rule Modules/CiscoWorks VMS Module/Rules File Access Control/Rule 237
I could just set this back to default if someone couls send me the default settings.
I don't have a test MC but could set one up if I have to.

I have several FAC rules in that module but no #237. Rule numbers can vary quite a bit based on the installation and modification history of the MC. What is it's name and was it in relation to?

I think I have this fixed now. I noticed the "view history" link on the rule. I was able to see what changes I had made and reverse them. I have enabled the rule and things seem fine now.
Thanks for the help,
Mark
