Hello.
I know I can make use of dhcpd on the inside interface of my pix 515 firewall. However, I don't have a need for that. I'd like to use this service, on ethernet2, which is my dmz connection. Is this possible? I'd like to do this in lieu of putting a w2k dhcp server in the dmz.
Thanks.

Step 6 Enable the DHCP daemon within the PIX Firewall to listen for DHCP client requests on the enabled interface. Currently, you can only enable the DHCP server feature on the inside interface, which is the default.

Wow! I have the same problem with Eric. I need the DHCP functionality for the DMZ interface. Do you know if version 6.2 for PIX Firewall will fix this limitation? Thank you.
