So I need to upgrade a ASA5585X and noticed one ASDM software is:

Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager for ASA 9.1-9.12 integrated with OpenJRE.

and other option is:

Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager for ASA 9.6-9.13 requires Oracle JRE.

I am trying to determine best one to use with

ASA software that will be upgraded  9.12(4)

There is no difference between them. OpenJRE is open source while OracleJRE is proprietary. You can just use OpenJRE if you don't have access to Oracle JRE.

Awesome thanks!

Reading the docs, I dont see anything wrong with just upgrading the ASA and ASDM software on a 5585X Chassis that has a SSP-20 module. Does this sound right?
