Hello all

I have configured Logging on switch in order to receive the notification as below which is working fine. so i receive the below syslog when anyone connects to the device and going into the config mode and exiting

27w2d: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by vty1 (192.168.1.222)

I need to know which "logging catagoery" is holdting this so i can disable / enable when required on the nodes ?

I only wanted to disable the above notification / catagoery .

i have already tried disable

SW1(config)#no logging console notifications

SW1(config)#no logging console informational

SW1(config)#no logging console console

however i am still receving the syslog from the device . I just wanted to know which logging i have to disable / or enable when i required this option .

many kind regards

I don't suppose you want to disable them completely, but remove it so the logging messages don't show up in the terminal emulator window when you are working?

no logging monitor

This is assuming you are not consoled in via a serial cable, but you are either using telnet or SSH
