Does a manual switchover of CISCO ASA generate an alarm ?

I got an alarm while I remove a cable from my CISCO ASA (2 NE in HA).

I don't see any alarm while I manually switch from active to standby.

Is it a default/standard behavior ? Should I configure something to get an alarm ?

Thanks,

       Benoît.

What do you mean by "alarm"? Alarm is a term generally used by the network management system, not the network device.

The ASA will generate a syslog message. I don't believe it will generate an SNMP trap.
