 Firewalls does not support CDP/LLDP. Those protocols are very usefull but they permit to exploit the network and gather information.  Most of companies disable it even in network devices like router and switch.

Actually some models of Cisco firewall do support it. 1100 series as of 7.1 and 2100/3100 series as of 7.2. I believe the 4200 series also supports it.
