domain name filtering

hi, can any1 tell me how to do url filtering ? like if i want to block www.mydomain.com so how will i do it, i know how to block ip ofcourse but is there any way i can block particular sites with their name and not ip ??

To my knowledge, I don't believe there is a way to do url filtering of domain names via acl's, however, you can do url filtering with a proxy/content server, using either wccp or the url-server commands. With this you can transparently filter urls via websense or other content filter applications running on the url filter server.
