Hello,
We are using a hosted VOIP provider and we have been ask to open up RTP which I think is UDP to their public cluster IP range, how do I enable RTP - Real Time Protocol? Can't find anything via the ASDM.
Thanks

Hello Andy,
What signaling protocol are u going to use?
What we usually do is to enable the inspection of the signaling protocol so the RTP channel is oppen dinamically.
So let's say its SIP traffic
just add
policy-map global_policy
class class-default
inspect SIP
and that's it

Hi,
I've asked teh hosted VOIP company (Natterbox) what signaling protocol they use and will let you know.
As for SIP inpsection they told me to turn this feature off, basically the opposite to what you posted.
Confused.
