ERROR: Cluster pool must be specified on this interface.

Hi everybody!

I have a problem: I configured two ASA 5512-X devices in Active / Standby mode. However, when I configured the management interface 0/0, I assigned the IP to the interface and said "ERROR: Cluster pool must be specified on this interface." . My ass helped me overcome the error.

does your deployment is in active standby mode or its in cluster.  I guess your deployment was in cluster mode and now its converted into active standby mode.

from global config mode, enter the command:

no cluster interface-mode

after this you should be able to configure the ip address
