Error Message - Sending sensorApp Control Transaction.

Hi,

I have just taken over the IDS equipment within our Organisation and I have just tried the update the Signature file to S244 on a IDS-4210, but getting the following error:

Error sending SensorApp Control Transaction. Restoring Old Signatures.

We are running with software version 5.1(3) S243.0

I have tried this from the IDM and also via ftp through PuTTY.

I reset the device and still getting the same problem. I also generated a report from the device and not able to see problems that might cause this.

Any help would be gratefully recieved?

Hi,

This is now resolved. The site with the IDS's was powered down all weekend and then retried this morning and all now working able to upgrade.
