Error on download pix configuration vers. 6.3 to VMS 2.2

Our company has two PIX 535 (vers. 6.3) for access the Internet

We allready installed VMS 2.2 (unrestricted license) for managing PIX firewalls

When we tried to import PIX configurations to management server (with VMS 2.2) we have an error regarding the unrecognized commands existing in PIX configuration.

What can we do for a complete and safe import of the PIX configuration to the VMS 2.2 server ?

Hi,

What are the unrecognised commands?

Some workarounds are:

Configure > Settings > Configs Additions > Ending Commands section and can be deployed with PIX MC

Change the "Action on Unknown Commands" under

Configure > Settings > PIX MC Controls > Management

from Error to Warning and try to import.

(NOTE: this setting is subject to the inheritance model, so for this to take effect, the group values where the import are taking place need to be modified, or inherit from a higher group, like Global, where the change is made.)
