There is problem upadating and getting the version of my IDS (4215 and 4235) from a Ciscoworks MC. After applying the updates the sensor return with the last update and i couldn't query the sensor.
From what version to what version are you updating check if it is possible to update n the firstplace. For eg if you are using verson 2.0 you wll not be able to update directly to 4.0.
