This is platform limitation, regardless of specific FTDv model and it will be same for all FTDv models. The only difference is that you get different performance tiers with different HW resources/licenses, but limitations are same.

Hello Mohammed,

Thank You...!

This document really help me lot.

can i get more specific document for FTDv10 (1Gbps interface support) to understand it limitations.

Because we need to understand how much sub-interfaces we can create on that virtual interface? Is there any limitation?

See this.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/oci/ftdv-oci-gsg/ftdv-oci-intro.html

The number of sub interfaces isn't limited. What is limited is the data
rate. It will be policied at 1GB on the FTD virtual NIC regardless of how
many subnet interfaces you have.

Hi @SurajS@Mohammed al Baqari,

Not entirelly true. You should definitelly take care of throughput of the device, as that will probably be your limiting factor. However, there is a limit of VLANs per device, which will be your limit of subinterfaces. On FTDv, limit is 50.

Take a look at this document.

Hello Milos_Jovanovic,

Thank you...!

Documents shown for only FDMv.

Is there any specific FDMv10(1 Gbps) base documents for limitations.

This is platform limitation, regardless of specific FTDv model and it will be same for all FTDv models. The only difference is that you get different performance tiers with different HW resources/licenses, but limitations are same.
