Sorry, I know no elegant way to do this. Only way I can tell is if you do a "show version" and look at the "Maximum Interfaces: 6" line, then compare that to the max allowed based on your model (eg 515 - restricted = 3 and unrestricted =6, PIX 525 rest.= 6, unrest. = 8).
