Firepower 1140

Experts, I would like to know whether new 1140 supports Etherchannels for Redundant interfaces.

I'm not 100% positive but I believe redundant interfaces must be physical type - not logical (i.e. they CANNOT also be Etherchannels). This constraint applies to all Firepower hardware appliance models.

Thanks. but do they support port-channels only?

An 1140 can have Etherchannel / portchannel interfaces. It can also have redundant interfaces. 

It cannot have an Etherchannel that is also a redundant interface.
