Does anyone have experience configuring WCCP through FlexConfig on an FTD? What are the nuances and short-falls of using it this way?

Are you using FDM or FMC?

On FDM, you will need to configure everything using Flexconfig (ACLs + WCCP).

On FMC, there’s a template predefined you can use to push wccp.

Maybe you can also have a look on youtube on Cisco channels. They’re doing more and more videos to explain rather than putting them into documentation.
