Firepower IPS Integration with patch management platforms

Can Firepower IPS (8000) integrate with patch management platforms, for example what do platform? and how is the integration?

There's no direct integration built-in.

The scheme Cisco is trying to standardize on is via pxGrid like they are doing with the FirePOWER - ISE integration:

The other option (not for the weak of heart!) is to do custom programming using the FirePOWER Management Center API.
