FirePower Logical Device HTTP Access 4150

Hello Support,

I have a question in regards to accessing the http interface of the logical device created in the FirePower chassis. I created the logical device, but cannot access the http web page. It reads as blank. I am able to SSH to this without issue over the designated management port, but http access appears limited. Is http access not support on FirePower 4150s? Thanks in advance!

It depends on the version of the device. FDM (Firepower Device Manager local GUI) support was only added for FTD on Firepower 4100 series as of release 6.5 which just came out last week.

Prior to that you had to manage via FMC and the FTD logical device had no local GUI.

Also if you configure an FMC manager it disables the FDM no matter what release. "show managers" will tell you which option is configured.
